Once upon a time, there was this boy who was given a small pet dragon for him to take care of, by this girl who had her own black dragon, all of them wore scarves. It was a bit silly, perhaps the weather was really cold.
The girl's dragon was only slightly older than the boy's. Hers had red eyes, and his had green ones. But that's not important.
Time passed, and the girl's dragon grew big and strong. He loved to eat cookies, lots of them. But somehow, the boy's dragon still remained little and naive. He couldn't help but to wonder why the girl's dragon was so big and his was still so tiny? They should be around the same size by now!
He kept mumbling to himself, until he realized that he never really took care of the little creature during these years. The little dragon spent all this time forgotten, living in the boy's closet, eating dust bunnies and little spiders.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
